This was much needed this morning. I just kept asking myself for a long time “Why can’t I just figure this out?” My husband has a bit of a hard time understanding why the house overwhelms me but he understands when I explain it to him again. I just tell him something along the lines of: “Allll these little messes throughout the house scream at me everyday and it makes me feel like I’m getting closed in, so I go to another room to try to escape it and every time I go to one task, the other tasks around me are still screaming at me, while the kids are literally screaming” lol

Yes. This is such a good way to describe it. When everything feels loud at once, our instinct is to escape it. Glad this article found you this morning. :)

Glad I’m not alone with this issue. I drive myself (and husband) nuts. But, I’m super creative and can work longer than most would ever imagine once I get going.
