🌿 Before we begin
This worksheet is part of our Monthly Worksheet Series, inspired by real conversations from The Tidy Home Community.
We’ve learned together that the hardest part of creating a calm home isn’t doing more — it’s noticing what’s quietly adding to the chaos.
We get used to our routines, and stop seeing the small things that keep the flow from feeling easy.
That’s why we made these worksheets interactive — so you can reflect, choose what fits, and see that you’re not the only one figuring it out as you go.
Noticing is the first step toward calm.
If you’re here, you’ve already begun.
Notice
Laundry isn’t one big job — it’s a rhythm that can slip in quiet ways.
Sometimes the loop breaks at sorting.
Sometimes it’s folding.
Sometimes it’s just… getting started.

The smaller the action, the smoother the rhythm.

Mini Reflection
You’ve already done the hardest part: you noticed.
That small awareness is what brings calm within reach.
Laundry will always return, but when you find your rhythm, it won’t feel like starting over.

Instead of jamming laundry into one big marathon of a day, I’m trying to spread it out over 3 days a week as to lessen the overwhelm! Folding and putting away at a timely manner is my biggest nemesis
This was PERFECT timing! I used to love doing laundry and had a great rhythm. Once that rhythm started not working when my schedule changed and laundry increased, laundry has slowly become a source of stress and frustration. Examining what is causing that and calling it by name rather than just being frustrated is so helpful!
